I chose this backpack due to the manaufacturer's commitment to safe (no harmful chemicals) products for kids. My daughter loves it. It is very sturdy and great for a preschooler. She has the matching lunch tote that is free of harmful chemicals. Most lunch tote's have concerning chemicals, especially lead. So beware if you look at other manufacturers. I was surprised to see that other manufacturers are selling products with chemicals that could harm children. I was so happy to have found out about this manufacturer and see their appealing designs.
